Thank you that there are people like you in this industry Mr.Ford. Personally I am in a debt war now. It all started because of my medical expenses. One particular debt collector use an illegal tactic that at the time I didn’t know. He purposely misrepresented himself on my answering machine saying he was trying to find the phone number that he recieved on his machine too, and that he was trying to find out who’s phone number this is. I thought to myself I don’t who this person is and I never gave out my phone number,” that’s awkward”. It happened to the point where he left a message for me and I pick up the phone out of respect for him. His demeaning words about how “I should ‘ve been a responsible young adult before it all came to this” and how I put him in the driver’s seat and that he’s going to sue me in court. I can’t believe he tricked me into giving him my financial situation. But it’s ok, because for the first time in my life , my blood boils when I hear the two ill words: DEBT COLLECTOR. I have been self educating my self about the FDCPA.I never knew that until now. Thank you for your time ,I truly hope this will help you all.
